How to mount it

  1. 1Cut a tapered strip with the skin left on as a firm backing.
  2. 2Pass the hook through the narrow end, skin side toward the hook shank.
  3. 3Take the hook through the strip again to anchor it and keep it straight.
  4. 4Keep the point exposed and secure with bait elastic for a firm cast.
